Medal for participation

Medalje for delatgelse

Put on your uniform and grab your weapons, because the battle is about to begin. On the last weekend in June, we will once again host 1864 Days at History Center Dybbøl Banke with a soldiers’ camp, battle demonstrations and home front. We hope you want to participate and help us show the world that there is a way forward from strife and enmity. Arrival is from Friday afternoon and then we meet Friday evening, have dinner and greet each other. The History Center and Soldiers’ Camp are open to the public all day Saturday and Sunday.

If you bring a weapon (including swords and bayonets), the Danish police need a formal and weapon-related document or permit issued by a shooting association or police authority. Foreign participants bringing weapons must bring a criminal record or firearms pass that is a maximum of 6 months old. Everything regarding permits and registration for the event can be done via registration on this page.

Registration no later than June 1.
